City Artwork Maquette Interactive Exhibition Family

This exhibition will be held in the Skyline Room on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All are welcome to attend this one-day event, with special efforts made to be inclusive for visually impaired individuals.

Annular Solar Eclipse Program Family

Join us as we learn about and view an Annular Solar Eclipse. Patrons are invited to meet near the “Tsunami” sculpture in front of the library to view the early morning annular eclipse beginning at 8 a.m. as part of the library’s participation in SEAL (Solar Eclipse Activities for Libraries) program. Special solar viewing glasses will be distributed to the first 200 participants. Participants will also have have the opportunity to view the eclipse through a telescope with a special solar filter. Following the viewing, those in attendance can enjoy a variety of hands-on eclipse-related activities in the Skyline Room. Distribution of eclipse glasses will begin outside at 8 a.m.
