Meet the Author: Michael Magrann Teens

6:00 PM

Join author Michael Magrann as he reads from his debut book “Miles Per Gallon,” which is based on actual events. Magrann takes us on a journey with a group of friends as they travel through North America during the band CH3's summer tour in 1983. Through his literary achievement, which is derived from hazy memories and adolescent journal entries, Magrann chronicles the bonds of friendship, the misadventures of a punk rock band out on the road, and the kind of self-discovery that only long periods spent cramped in a van can bring. After the reading, Magrann will perform songs from his band, CH3.
