Meet author Rod Pulido for a reading of his debut novel “Chasing Pacquiao.” After the reading, Damien Jackson will lead a discussion with Pulido about his book. Pulido is an author and filmmaker who grew up in Cerritos. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Film Production from California State University, Long Beach. His directorial debut, "The Flip Side," became the first feature by a Filipino filmmaker to world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. Pulido’s stories aim to uplift and entertain while highlighting the Filipino American experience.
